When I first saw the Bee Mine Suite, I fell in love with all of the papers. Typically I am a paper hoarder and I don't like to chop my paper because it's too pretty, however, I've made a vow this year to use my supplies to make pretty things for the world to see. That is how this card was created.

I was working on some projects that involved fun fold cards, using a standard card base. This is the first of three upcoming projects focusing on partial card front techniques.
This card uses the Bee Mine
Suite, and co-ordinating paper and ribbon.

To make this card you will need the following materials.
Materials:
Daffodil Delight Card Base 29.7cm x 10.5cm scored at 14.85cm
Basic White Card Insert 6.9cm x 10cm
Basic White Card front 6.9cm x 10cm
Bee Mine Designer Series Paper 6.9cm x 10cm
Basic White Card Scrap
Sweet Sorbet Border ribbon 12cm
Liquid Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Bone Folder
Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Sweet Sorbet, Memento Tuxedo Black inks
Bee My Valentine Stamp Set
Paper Trimmer
Mini Glue Dots
You can make this card following the below instructions.
Instructions:
Fold and burnish the Daffodil Delight card base using the bone folder.
Using the Paper Trimmer, cut the card front at 7.4cm.
Using Daffodil Delight Ink, stamp the honeycomb image from the Bee My Valentine stamp set around the edge of the card base on the inside – this will be visible from the front of the card.
On the scrap of Basic White card stock stamp the oval bee body stamp from the Bee My Valentine stamp set.
Using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, stamp the stripes and a face on the bee body. Cut this image out using the Bee Builder Punch.
Attach the Basic White card insert using liquid glue to the left-hand side of the inside of the card. Attach the designer series paper to the left-hand side of the card front using liquid glue.
On the Basic White card front panel stamp the sentiment using Sweet Sorbet ink.
Practise your bee body placement on the card front panel to get an idea of where to stamp the following items. Bee flight line and wings – stamped in pool party. Bee antenna – stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. When you’re happy with where you want these, go ahead and stamp them.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals attach the bee body to the front of the card.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals attach the card front to the designer series paper panel. There should be an even boarder around the card front.
Tie a bow using the Sweet Sorbet boarder ribbon and attach to the front of the card using a mini glue dot.
The card is complete. You can stamp the inside or the envelope to match if you like.
